Denis first came to our attention in 2018, with an impromptu audition that knocked our socks off. With some incredibly fluid guitar skills and a voice like it was hand-crafted for the blues, It’s no exaggeration to say that Denis is Newfoundland’s answer to Stevie Ray Vaughn–and he’s still young!
Denis has fronted several local bands rooted in the rock and blues genre, but as a solo artist he shines with his uncanny ability to sound like a band all by himself–give the man a loop pedal, and he’s a wizard! He is no stranger to the downtown stages, having appeared with his bands at many venues including the Rockhouse, The Black Sheep, The Station–and has performed solo at many open mics around town, along with being featured in a weekly “Monday Blues” night at Yes B’y’s Social Bar in 2018.
